I develop verbal/learning strategies for students who need to improve their academic habits and performance in all domains. I work closely with students with learning challenges, including but not limited to ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, and dysgraphia.
For each student, I design a specialized curriculum aimed primarily at honing reasoning and problem-solving processes. My approach is based on mastery of verbal skill, on both the processing and production end, and encompasses work on quantitative reasoning as well as the verbal arts.
I am happy to work collaboratively with teachers and administrators according to my students’ needs.
For students of mine who need help with college admissions, I interface with the College Board and university admissions offices to better help my students navigate the process. Upon a successful admission, I also help my students transition from high school to college coursework.
